That's the way to do it. Thumbs up to the father! Screw "wait on Jehovah!"

Welcome untruth! I am glad to see the talented leave the WT, even if it a protracted process
Your situation looks bad, but it could be worse.
What about other family members? brothers, parents? are they in?
Based on many stories I've read here, I think you should pretend to continue to have an unwavering faith in Jehovah and his promises, even if you are moving in the direction of dumping religion altogether. Keep the Bible and God sacred and above anything else, even if you no longer believe that they are. Your wife needs a gradual and slow transition.

Law of supply and demand. It's the system that we all love...when benefits us, but so ugly when it benefits our neighbor.

"Being guided by the above recommendations will avoid unfounded accusations and will protect the reputation of our organization"
Really???, so the assumption is that sexual abuse accusations within the organization are unfounded.
Why not word it like this: "Being guided by the above recommendations will
avoid unfounded accusations and willprotectthe reputation of our organization.our children." -

What is the purpose of life?
by slimboyfat inwhile reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.
because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".
i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

Looter: I thought this was a board with a lot of adults, not children.
Children are easily persuaded to believe in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and all kinds of invisible beings who
use superhuman powers, but always hidden from human eyes.
Mature adult eventually lose their child-like gullibility and stop believing in the intervention of invisible and mute beings in human affairs. You may reach this stage one day.

PRESS RELEASE: This is not over, on the contrary. I do not retract.
by sp74bb ini appreciate all the expressions of interest and solidarity.
it has been a very intense week.
i started with the help of many of you, a particular war for my rights as a european citizen.. we have achieved an important space and advertising with a single complaint, which is a great success that i share with you all.. the press has not only spoken about a single complaint, but they gave a full coverage on asocial behavior of jehovah's witnesses and the last, a very hard editorial from the newspaper el periodico director (link).

Sounds like a civil case where loser pays. How does it work in Spain?
It's big money versus little money, but it has the opportunity to attract lots of media attention, which potentially gives the advantage to little money if it can substantiate its case.
Good luck!! Your story resonates with thousands around the world. We are rooting for you and against the Watchtower.

According to one JW there can only be 1 of 3 reasons why you left.
by Bonsai ini asked an old jw friend of mine why so many baptized individuals leave the jw religion.
"did it ever occur to you, old friend, that maybe they know something that you don't know and have valid reasons for leaving?
", i asked.. his response set me back for an answer.

I never left, because I was never in, but my view of the religion started a dramatic U turn the moment I typed Jehovah's Witnesses in the Google search engine. It went from positive to very, very negative.

Yes, However, most Christians are very ignorant of the history of their religion and their holy book. I am willing to bet that more than half would quit Christianity if they studied in depth those two subjects (bible and history of Christianity)Sorry about meddling in others' debates. I just couldn't help itOkay so now you're saying it is possible to be a Christian without being either ignorant or dishonest.

Me too but I was talking about in the context of the problem of evil. Evil still have no known explanation even in an atheistic scenario.
Does goodness have an explanation?
Oh! I forgot, it came from the asshole who inspired the Bible and thinks women are worth half as much as men and many, many other "good things"
